Leon Löwentraut - What does it take to be a Champion?

Leon Löwentraut

Leon Löwentraut was born in Kaiserslautern in 1998. Today, he lives and works near Düsseldorf and in Portugal. He began painting at the age of seven, and today his works are among the most sought-after pieces of young contemporary art. Löwentraut gained international recognition through exhibitions in major museums such as the Kunstforum Wien, the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence, the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana in Venice, the Bavarian National Museum in Munich, the Osthaus Museum in Hagen, and the Pushkin Museum in St. Petersburg. His works have also been presented at renowned art fairs such as Art Miami, Art Toronto, Estampa Madrid, and Art Karlsruhe. Since 2018, one of his paintings has been part of the collection in the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament and hangs in the lobby.
